Workshops on Energy & the Environment

With support from NSF, the Li group has organized STEM workshops on energy and the environment for K-12 students and teachers. These workshops were offered to grade 6-12 students at the Project SMART and Tech Camp at UNH, and to high school science teachers at the UNH Nanotech Teacher Conferences and the New England Association of Chemistry Teachers (NEACT) Summer Conferences. More recently, we have created and offered STEM workshops for grade K-8 students at Portsmouth Christian Academy (PCA), a local school in Dover NH. These workshops provide excellent opportunities for educating emerging workforce in energy-related fields to increase the national talent pipeline in clean energy, materials and catalysis science.
